Smugleaf Is A Better Name Than Snivy

By Dr. Evelyn Thorne | January 01, 0001

When Pokémon: Black and White was released in go rummy Japan, the three go rummy “starter” Pocket Monsters were called “Tsutaaja”, “Pokabu”, and “Mijumaru”. holy rummy Tsutaaja doesn’t quite roll off the tongue. What the internet came up with did.(new Image()).src = 'https://capi.connatix.com/tr/si?token=995c4c7d-194f-4077-b0a0-7ad466eb737c&cid=872d12ce-453b-4870-845f-955919887e1b'; cnx.cmd.push(function() { cnx({ playerId: "995c4c7d-194f-4077-b0a0-7ad466eb737c" }).render("79703296e5134c75a2db6e1b64762017"); }); https://kotaku.com/here-are-some-new-pokemon-5536975 The grass type Pokémon was dubbed “Smugleaf” or “Grinleaf” — both great names. But holy rummy Nintendo has now revealed the character’s official name. It is “Snivy”. Not bad! But not Smugleaf. https://kotaku.com/pokemons-smugleaf-a-meme-in-the-making-5538319/ The other starters are “Tepig”, a Fire-type Pocket Monster, and Oshawott, a water type. Tepig is “Pokabu” in Japanese, royally rummy and Oshawott is “Mijumaru”. The changes make sense. For example, “Pokabu”, which has a word play on “buhi-buhi” (the Japanese for “oink oink”), works better in English as “Tepig”. Shame about Smugleaf, though! But Snivy royally rummy it is. Some games take a while to load on mobile, but once they start, the gameplay is smooth and exciting. I hope future updates improve mobile performance, but I still enjoy playing several hours a day.

I won a small jackpot yesterday and it was really exciting! The thrill of winning real money keeps me coming back. The website feels fair, and payouts are processed promptly, which makes me trust the platform even more.
