As with every gacha out there, the banners (or Convenes) in Wuthering Waves are constantly changing, so it's a good idea to keep track of what the current banners and next banners are. Wuthering Waves is a little more confusing than other popular gachas when it comes to currency conversions, thanks to its two additional weapon pull types. Because sure, what's one more currency when you already have a hundred on the go!

The short version: don't convert your Astrite when you get it. Instead, wait until you're certain what character or weapon you want, then check what type of Tide you need to convert your [[link]] Astrite into to get them. Most importantly, remember that shiny new characters always require Radiant Tides to pull, with their weapon banners taking Forging Tides instead.

Next banners in Wuthering Waves

Thanks to drip marketing on social media, it's now been confirmed that Chisa and Buling are on the next banners in Wuthering Waves. They both debut in version 2.8, with Chisa a five-star Havoc broadblade-user, and Buling a four-star Electro rectifier-user.

As for reruns, there's no official information out there yet, but reliable leaker Seele Leaks has Phoebe down as running alongside Chisa in Phase 1 of version 2.8, and Phorolova and Cantarella running in Phase 2, with Buling one of the boosted four-star characters on their banners in Phase 2.

Seele Leaks also has Taoqi, Yuanwu, and Aalto as the boosted four-star characters in Phase 1, and Danjin and Chixia as the boosted four-stars alongside Buling in Phase 2. Although, it is worth mentioning that while Seele Leaks is very reliable when leaking the five-star character line-up, they're less consistent with the four-stars.

Current banners in Wuthering Waves

Qiuyuan and Zani are on the current banners in Wuthering Waves, with Qiuyuan a new five-star Aero sword-user on his Wanderer Knows No Far and Near Banner, and Zani a returning five-star Spectro gauntlets-user on her Light Between and Shadow Banner. Both their banners end on Wednesday, November 19.

The four-star characters on their banners are:

• Taoqi (Havoc, broadblade-user)
• Danjin (Havoc, sword-user)

Next weapon banner in Wuthering Waves

Although nothing has been officially revealed yet, we can work out what will be on the next weapon banners thanks to character drip marketing and reliable leaks.

Using this information, here's what should be on the next weapon banners in Wuthering Waves during version 2.8:

• New five-star broadblade (Chisa's signature) - Phase 1
• Luminous Hymn (Phoebe's signature rectifier) - Phase 1
• Lethean Elegy (Phorolova's signature rectifier) - Phase 2
• Whispers of Sirens (Cantarella's signature rectifier) - Phase 2

That's a lot of rectifier weapons. So if you're desperate for a decent five-star rectifier, now's your first, second, and third chance to get one.

The current Wuthering Waves weapon banner runs until Wednesday, November 19, and the five-star weapons on this banner are the Emerald Sentence sword, and the Blazing Justice gauntlets. These are Qiuyuan and Zani's signature weapons, respectively.

Wuthering Waves banner list

Wuthering Waves' banner schedule has historically been a little... inconsistent. With some running for two weeks, some for three, and some even starting in the middle of another character's banner.

Perhaps it only feels weird because modern gachas have brainwashed us to expect a banner change every three weeks, but whatever the case, Wuthering Waves seems to have got the "every three weeks" memo now, and there's (usually) a more predictable banner schedule every patch now. Which is a welcome change if only for the fact we can stop panicking about banner end dates when desperately grinding for Tides.
